The last few days have been especially treacherous for the people of Ukraine. Air attacks damaged power infrastructure in four Ukrainian regions, cutting electricity to hundreds of thousands of households. Emergency power shutdowns were necessary in Kyiv and other areas forcing rolling 8-to-10-hour blackouts. Falling debris and direct impacts from the strikes resulted in several deaths, including a 13-year-old girl in Vinnytsia.
Our humanitarian aid efforts are more important than ever, ensuring people have food, shelter, medical care, and other necessities. Together we save lives and restore hope.
