Weekend of Tragedies

MAY 19TH 2025

It was a tragic weekend in Ukraine. Nine people riding on a bus were killed by a drone in massive air attacks that left four others dead and more than thirty-eight injured. The regions of Sumy, Donetsk, Kharkiv, and Kherson were hit on Saturday, and the next day, Kyiv sustained 9 hours of relentless attacks by more than 273 drones. One woman was killed and three people were injured in Kyiv, including a 4 year old child.

These are just the latest tragedies in the crisis that has spanned more than 3 years, devastating the people of Ukraine. Our hopes and prayers are with them and our work continues to save lives and restore hope.
