Vinnytsia Youth Participate in Master Jew Chef

MAY 4TH 2026

The Jewish youth group in Vinnytsia recently participated in “Master Jew Chef,” an event organized by the leaders of EnerJew Ukraine, along with Rabbi Shaul and Chana Horowitz of Vinnytsia. This fun-filled program was designed to attract new Jewish youth to the club, as well as foster continued interest from existing members.

The innovative event provided an engaging atmosphere for the teens who worked in small groups to develop their own kosher café concepts—from branding to preparing desserts and beverages, culminating in a final presentation to the entire gathering. The hands-on format of the workshop fostered leadership, teamwork, and decision-making skills for the young adults.

The EnerJew Ukraine team, led by Lena Kovylova, traveled to Vinnytsia to direct the initiative, along with local leaders of the club. They were pleased with the outcome of the event that provided participants a wonderful opportunity to have fun, learn about their Jewish heritage, and make new friends and strengthen ties to existing ones. For the youngsters in Vinnytsia who have lived with the ongoing conflict for more than 4 years, attending Master Jew Chef allowed them to escape the fear and trauma of their daily lives.

It is more important than ever that we support the physical, emotional, and spiritual needs of the younger generation in Ukraine; they are the future. Together we save lives and restore hope.

Together we Save Lives and Restore Hope!
