We continue helping families in Ukraine who cannot afford critical medical care for their children. Andriy, who was born with autism and a deformity in his ankles, needed an operation and extensive physical therapy as well ongoing developmental support.
Andriy recently underwent successful surgery, and his legs are in casts; later he will be fitted with special shoes to help him walk. He has begun a course of rehabilitative therapy to eliminate pain and swelling, and to restore blood circulation in his legs. Andriy completes special exercises designed to strengthen his muscles, restore joint mobility, and improve his cardiovascular health.
It is an honor and privilege to assist Andriy and his family along with thousands of others throughout Ukraine. Together we save lives and restore hope.
