Saving Lives Through Transportation and Patient Support

JUNE 17TH 2026

The Jewish Medical Center (JMC), a leading medical institution serving the Jewish Community of Dnipro, provides a wide range of services covering all areas of modern medicine, including patient transportation. Medical transport services play a critical role and are often the decisive factor in saving lives. The transport teams safely move people with serious health conditions, within the city and over long distances.

"This is professional, high-quality medical support and transportation of patients, not an emergency or rapid medical care service," emphasizes the General Director of JMC, Doctor of Medical Sciences, Professor Oleksandr Rodinsky. "Such support can be of many different types," he continued, “there are patients who simply need safe transportation from their place of residence to a medical facility, from one hospital to another, or home after treatment. Others require complex and specialized medical support during transportation; we are ready to provide whatever level of care is needed."

The transportation service relies on several specialized vehicles equipped for varying levels of care, and teams of professional medical providers including drivers, nurses, doctors and anesthesiologists-resuscitators. Particular attention is paid in selecting drivers, all of whom are professionals who undergo special training including how to work with patients in a wide variety of conditions:

"Our vehicles are staffed by drivers who are highly qualified paramedics who have undergone special training and are able to properly transport patients even in the most difficult conditions," continues Professor Oleksandr Rodinsky, "our services include lifting and lowering the patient to the floor, and we are able to work both in modern buildings with freight elevators and in old housing stock, where there are no elevators and there are narrow staircases. Our employees competently transport patients of various levels of complexity, including people with fractures, cardiac diseases and other conditions that require special care including ventilator or oxygen support."

JMC’s medical transportation services extend far beyond the city, all across the region and even the country if necessary. In some cases patients are taken to international transport hubs and even supported when traveling outside the country.

"We at the JMC are convinced that patient care does not end at the clinic doors; medical transportation is part of a comprehensive care system that includes diagnosis, treatment, rehabilitation and recovery," emphasizes Professor Oleksandr Rodinsky. JMC operates within the Dnipro Jewish Community, led by Chief Rabbi Shmuel Kaminezki, who is dedicated to helping people, preserving health, and caring for everyone.

It is an honor and privilege for us to support the Jewish community of Dnipro, including the JMC. Together we save lives and restore hope.

Together we Save Lives and Restore Hope!
