Preparing for Rosh Hashanah

With Rosh Hashanah just around the corner, Jewish communities all across Ukraine have been busy preparing to make the holidays special and provide some relief from the challenges of daily life. In many cities, including Berdychiv, Dnipro, Rivne, Pervomaisk, Chernihiv, and Bila Tserkva, staff and volunteers unloaded truckloads of food items and created individual packages for each household. Families will receive bags filled with essentials, such as cooking oil, canned vegetables, pasta, and chicken broth. Meat and other items will follow, along with gift boxes containing honey cakes, challah, and more, bringing sweetness and joy to New Year celebrations.

Thank you to everyone who made this High Holiday campaign a reality for the Jews of Ukraine, reminding them they are not alone and not forgotten. Together we save lives and restore hope.
