Olga, 84, lives alone in a 4th floor apartment building in Kropyvnytskyi, a city in central Ukraine. Sadly, she rarely leaves her home due to the severe joint disease that makes it difficult for her to walk. The building has no elevator, and the stairs are too much for her. For months on end she is isolated in her home, unable to see her doctor or go to the store.
Olga’s financial situation further complicates matters. Her modest pension is barely enough to cover rent and utility bills, let alone food and other essentials.
It is an honor and privilege to support Olga and thousands of other senior citizens in Ukraine, with critical aid as well as emotional and spiritual support. Our staff and volunteers provide much needed encouragement and friendship to help Olga navigate the daily challenges she faces. Together we save lives and restore hope.
