Meals for the elderly are an important part of the work we do in Ukraine. Soup kitchens serve hot lunches five days a week. For those who are unable to travel to the community center to pick up their food, local aid coordinators promptly deliver the meals to the homes. In addition to delivering the thermal food containers, the staff and volunteers check on the health and well-being of the senior citizens, often identifying other areas of need.

Our medication distribution program is a lifeline for people living with chronic illnesses who can no longer afford this significant expense. Without vital drugs and essential care, thousands of people would struggle for their very survival, especially after more than 4 ½ years of the ongoing crisis. Our staff and volunteers stay in close touch with the elderly and infirm individuals we serve to ensure they receive the care they need in a timely manner.

In addition to our large-scale aid programs, we also provide direct assistance tailored to the needs of individuals or families. From critically-needed surgery, to eyecare, to specialized medication, we work tirelessly to make miracles happen for people who have suffered a great deal.

It is an honor and privilege to help the people of Ukraine. The challenges are immense, but we are determined not to leave anyone behind. Together we save lives and restore hope.
