More Deadly Attacks on Ukraine

AUGUST 22ND 2025

Over the last few days, the people of Ukraine have once again endured countless attacks, with nearly 600 drones and 40 missiles striking cities throughout the county. One person was killed in a drone and missile strike in Lviv, and three others were injured. Additionally, 15 people were wounded in an attack in the southwest part of the country.

This latest assault is the largest since early July when 728 drones and 13 missiles struck different cities in multiple waves.

The attack on Lviv damaged more than 20 civilian buildings including homes and a nursery. And fifteen people were injured when cruise missiles hit an American electronics firm in the far southwestern town of Mukachevo, near the border with Hungary and Slovakia.

Our thoughts and prayers are with the people of Ukraine who continue to endure fear and tragedy on a daily basis. Our leaders, staff, and volunteers work tirelessly to provide aid and support of all kinds to those in need. Together we save lives and restore hope.
