Major Airstrikes Result in Deaths and Injuries in Cities Across Ukraine

MARCH 25TH 2026

In the past 2 days, Ukraine suffered some of the largest attacks in the past 4 years, striking at least 11 different regions of the country, leaving more than 12 people dead and injuring more than 40 others. In Ivano-Frankivsk, a National Guard soldier and his 15-year-old daughter died while at a hospital maternity ward visiting the soldier’s wife who had given birth to a son just days prior. A 61-year-old woman was killed when a drone hit an electric train in Kharkiv, and 2 people were killed and 12 injured when residential buildings and a hotel were hit in Poltava. In Kherson, a civilian was killed when his house came under attack; a 75-year-old woman was killed in the Dnipropetrovsk region, and a 65-year-old bus driver died in Sumy. In Vinnytsia, a 59-year-old man was killed while 11 others were injured, and in Zaporizhzhia, 1 person was killed and 9 were injured after a residential high-rise building was hit-- 6 drones and 6 ballistic missiles attacked the city.

Nearly 212,000 people have been left without power in Ukraine's northern Chernihiv region after overnight attacks damaged two energy facilities. More than 150,000 homes in the city of Chernihiv and the surrounding district were plunged into darkness after a strike on a facility in the Chernihiv district. Another 62,000 consumers were left without power in three nearby districts after a separate attack. The temperatures at night continue to drop below freezing creating dangerous conditions for local residents.

Even with the ongoing tragedies and disruptions, we continue to prepare for the upcoming Passover holiday, delivering Seder packages and food parcels to thousands of Jewish families in more than 250 cities, towns, and villages across the country. Together we save lives and restore hope.
