The pervasive and extended power outages in Ukraine pose serious risks to senior citizens who are susceptible to illness from the cold and lack of nutrition. Our dedicated staff and volunteers have been working tirelessly to provide hot meals to the elderly, as well as delivering firewood for fuel. Utility vouchers are distributed where power remains, to help people afford to keep their homes warm as well as feed their families. Over the past week we focused our winter emergency aid efforts on Uzhhorod, Sumy, Bila Tserkva, Kropyvnytskyi, and Poltava.
In Ukraine, the daily struggle for survival is real, and we are doing all we can to help as many people as possible, providing food, medical care, medicine, emergency winter items and more. Together we save lives and restore hope.
