The donations we receive from many generous people allow us to continue providing critical aid to people in need. We often receive letters of thanks, describing the help we provide, including the two below:
"Our son attends the school run by the Jewish community, where I have been working at for many years. My husband went to war almost from the very beginning, but unfortunately, he was seriously wounded and is now receiving extensive treatment. He recently underwent another operation.
The assistance you provide with heating is not only important for our daily survival, it makes us feel comforted and secure, knowing that we are not alone in this difficult time. Thank you very much for your help."
"My husband and I are internally displaced persons.
We had to leave Kherson; everyone had to leave: us, our children, grandchildren, and friends. Now everyone lives in different cities and countries; they are ok, but we are waiting for the day when we can return home. We were members of the Jewish community in Kherson, so when we came to Odessa, we were immediately welcomed by the local community. I attend classes and participate in holiday celebrations; and the community helps us a lot. The funds you provide to help pay for heat is very much needed and appreciated."
Together we save lives and restore hope.
