Getting Ready for Hanukkah in Ukraine

DECEMBER 3RD 2025

All across Ukraine, we are delivering food and other items to people in more than 250 cities, towns, villages and outlying areas. The cold winter weather has made a bad situation even worse, as people face ongoing missile, drone, and rocket strikes, disrupting the power supply, and making daily life a challenge.

People gratefully accept the packages, filled with nutritious and essential products they use to prepare warm meals for their families. They welcome the warm clothes and blankets essential to survive the days and nights without heat.

In addition, we included Hanukkah items, such menorahs and candles, so families can celebrate the festival of light, bringing some joy to lives filled with much darkness.

Recently, we were in Chernihiv, Pervomaisk, Sumy, Uzhhorod, Rivne, Vinnytsia, Dnipro, and Kharkiv, with stops in many towns and villages along the way. Our staff and volunteers will be working around the clock over the next couple of weeks to ensure no one is forgotten. Together we save lives and restore hope.

Together we Save Lives and Restore Hope!
