Food Campaign Sustains Jews of Dnipro

JULY 24TH 2026

We recently completed a large-scale distribution of food packages to the Dnipro Jewish Community, providing vital support for families with children and internally displaced persons who especially need assistance. Our food program has been ongoing since the crisis began, with families receiving parcels on a monthly or bi-monthly basis.

For this distribution, 450 food packages were delivered. Each box contained a wide assortment of essential items including vegetable oil, milk, apple juice, sugar, rice, buckwheat, oatmeal, pasta, condensed milk, tea, and coffee, as well as gingerbread cookies, bread rings, and other products. Our food program sustains people while their limited budgets make it impossible to shop for themselves. Working closely with the leaders of the Dnipro Jewish Community, we ensure that hundreds of Jewish families receive critical support for their physical, emotional, and spiritual needs.

“We are sincerely grateful to Jewish Relief Network Ukraine for their unwavering readiness to help Jewish families and support our community,” noted Rabbi Reuven Kaminezki of Dnipro. He continued, “It is especially important that this assistance is ongoing and enables us to support families with children and internally displaced persons precisely when it is needed most. We are very glad that thanks to our friends and partners, hundreds of families feel genuine care and attention, which are an integral part of the life of our united and cohesive Dnipro Jewish Community under the leadership of Chief Rabbi Shmuel Kaminezki.”

Together we save lives and restore hope.
