In the final days before Rosh Hashanah, the last food package distributions are underway, providing critical humanitarian aid and reminding people they have not been forgotten.
In Dnipro, large parcels were received by hundreds of people: families with children, internally displaced persons, the elderly, and those with disabilities. The distributions took place at various institutions including the children’s educational center and the very large Menorah Jewish Community Center, to ensure we reached everyone in need:
“We are very grateful to our friends and partners at JRNU for this substantial and timely assistance, thanks to which hundreds of families received necessary food items right before the new Jewish year,” said Rabbi Reuven Kaminezki of Dnipro. He continued, “it is very important to us that every Jewish family feels attention and care, especially on the eve of such meaningful days. We surround our community members with support and, with them, we will joyfully and confidently welcome the coming year.”
